Alkalox is a liquid alkaline decarboniser, cleaner, rust remover and paint stripper for use on ferrous metals in a heated tank. Alkalox was designed to build into one bath the operations normally carried out by a series of baths, thus saving space and capital.
Dilution Ratio
Alkalox is used at a concentration of 15 to 25% by volume at 85°C minimum, depending on degree
of rust, soiling and paint stripping required. A weak solution and/or lower temperature may be
used for cleaning alone.
