Water Hardener - Calcium Chloride (25kg)

Used to help balance your water and protect your pool and spa.

Water Hardener (also called Calcium Chloride, Hardness Increaser or Calcium Increaser) is used to increase the calcium levels in your pool or spa. Calcium levels are especially important in plaster, concrete and tiled pools as water with low levels of calcium will begin to etch the sides, concrete and grout. Hardener also helps prevent potential damage to metal parts in your system or pump. Be careful not to over add Water Hardener as it will cause white calcium buildup on the sides of your pool and potentially inside your system. It can also lead to staining of your pool if too much is added. We recommend you monitor your levels closely if you use Granular Chlorine (Calcium Hypochlorite) as this also adds calcium to your pool.
