CIP Cleaner Caustic

CIP CL25 is a low-foaming heavy-duty alkaline detergent based on caustic soda.

CIP CL25 contains powerful sequestering agents that provide effective hard water control and removal of denatured soils. CIP CL25 is ideally suited to use in C.I.P operations, such as those found in dairy and beverage processing. The alkalinity effectively removes the fatty and carbohydrate based soils and the sequestering system is effective in removing accumulated calcium and other mineral salts.

CIP CL25 also lends itself to the meat industry. It is ideal for use in the first stage cleaning of meat hooks. The first stage effectively removes old oils and greases, and strips the meat scraps that have accumulated during the hanging process. In rendering operations, it is ideal for the removal of fatty and proteinaceous materials that result from the cooking processes. In mechanical separating processes and scraped surface heat exchangers, the combination of strong alkalinity and sequestering agents makes cleaning of the processing surfaces easy and effective. Instructions for Use

CIP CL25 is a low foaming heavy duty alkaline detergent designed to use in a wide variety of C.I.P. applications. Because of the wide variety of application methods and uses, it is recommended that we organise a consult with a FluidChristeyns representative for specific application methods and dose rates to suit your particular requirements.
The representative can provide advice on; proportioners, injectors, spray equipment and chemicals metering pumps to make handling CIPCL25 as safe and effective as possible.
Use rates start at 0.2 – 2% depending upon application.

Handling Precautions:

Only staff trained in handling of Dangerous Goods should be responsible for handling this product.
Causes burns to eyes, respiratory system and skin. Wear suitable eye/face protection and suitable gloves when handling this product. Avoid breathing mists and vapours.
